In partnership with Pacific Immigrant Resources Society, SWAN offers low-barrier english classes.
-
SWAN hosts a monthly lunch social for women, which includes an opportunity to give back to their community by organizing personal protective equipment for outreach deliveries
Funding support for this program is provided by Canadian Women's Foundation and the generous support of our donors. .

As engagement in sex work and employment of any kind is a deportable offense for a great many of the women SWAN serves, our Community Program is innovatively strategized so that women’s involvement does not place them at risk for arrest, detention and deportation.
